WC Students

This ministry's goal is to teach students the Gospel and connect them with other Christians, so they can grow in their faith, take ownership of their relationships with Jesus, and honor God with their lives and choices.
"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

- 1 Timothy 4:12

To be included in the video slideshow that morning, please send two photos of your senior in jpeg form (one photo taken during your student's senior year and one taken as a baby or during early childhood) to wcseniorphotos@gmail.com. Put your student's FULL NAME in the subject line. The name in the subject line of the email will be the one shown in the slideshow. Crave & Intersection located in the Foundry from 6 to 9 p.m.
Crave & Intersection will resume in the Fall.
It's the most wonderful time of the year--Crave & Intersection is back!!  Crave & Intersection (middle & high school) worship service, meets from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Foundry every week, which is the worship space formerly known as the Bridge.

    Sunday Mornings 7th - 12th Grade
    Picture
Current 7th-12th grade students are invited to join WC Students on Sunday Mornings for Bible study at 11 a.m. on the second floor in the Student Education Building. Each week will begin with worship together followed by break out groups. All groups will walk through the Bible—Genesis through Revelation. Middle school students will focus on characters, high school students on books, and senior high will focus on themes. We hope these three tracks will allow students to graduate from the program with a thorough knowledge of Scripture.

Sunday mornings seem to get better every week! If you have not had the chance to join us, we would love to see you this Sunday. Each week there are more students sitting together during the 9:30 a.m. Contemporary Service in the Sanctuary. Everyone is welcome to come sit with us on the far right (if you are looking at the stage).

    WC Student Worship Team

Jackson Christenberry will be teaching students about worship each week from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. If your student has ever expressed interest in being apart of the worship team, this would be a great opportunity to grow and learn with others. If possible, bring your instrument (besides drums and keyboards) and headphones.

    Cell Groups
    Picture
Cell groups will resume in the Fall.
Cell groups were created to help students find community and walk out their faith with their peers. Middle and high school students meet in small groups lead by adult leaders each Sunday during the school year. Cell groups are a great entry point for those who might be more anxious about larger group gatherings. During their time together students enjoy fellowship and small group discussion about their faith. They provide a safe place for students to ask hard questions, share their struggles and victories, and encourage one another through accountability.

To learn more about cell groups,
    contact Shelby Aman.

Join a WC Students Cell Group Today!
Cell groups were created to help students find community and walk out their faith with their peers.  They meet in host homes around the area weekly and are lead by adult leaders.  During their time together students enjoy fellowship and small group discussion about their faith.

In order to keep groups small and open them up to younger students, we are always in need of adult leaders. If you or someone you know is interested, please sign up. We will provide Bible studies and support along the way. The church can also be a place for hosting groups, if that is preferred.

For more information about Cell Groups, please contact Shelby Aman.
