We believe fostering a personal faith in Jesus Christ in children is one of the most important parts of being a community church. There are many available ministries created for each and every age group, from nursery to sixth grade.
Moving forward (excluding Easter Sunday):
8:20 a.m. – childcare for 3 yrs old and under
9:30 a.m. – Sunday School for all ages, birth – 6th grade
11 a.m. – Sunday School for all ages, birth – 6th grade
Easter Sunday is childcare for 3 and under only!
Get ‘egged’ by White’s Chapel! To celebrate Easter this year, parents will be able to sign up to have their house ‘egged’ in the month leading up to Easter. This will be a fun and unique alternative for families and community members to be a part of, while keeping social distancing in mind. Choose the date and time you would like to be "egged." WCKids staff and volunteers will “egg” your yard and drop off activities to enrich the kids’ Easter experience and understanding. Volunteers are needed to help make this experience special for all involved. If you would like more information, please contact Denise Bennett.
Sunday, Feb. 28 to Sunday, Nov. 14 | 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Our new program will begin the spring semester of sixth grade and continue through fall semester of seventh grade. There will be 10 weeks in the spring and 10 weeks in the fall with summer activities and requirements. The Confirmation Experience at White’s Chapel will guide each student in professing their belief in Jesus Christ, exploring the Christian faith, and helping them understand what it means to be a full member of White’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Our goal is to help bridge the gap between WCKids and WCStudents while giving the students the best foundation for making this important decision in their faith journey.
Classes will begin on Feb. 28 at 11 a.m. You will be able to choose between an in person or a virtual option. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
If your student falls outside these parameters, you will still be able to register here and will be contacted with more info.
6 - 7 p.m. | Zoom
WCKids will resume Wednesday Night Bible Study on Zoom for all age groups. Class times will be split into- get to know you activities, games, videos and Bible study. We hope this time will help keep children connected with our staff, each other and God. Zoom links for each group – KidsJam, KCrew, Team 12, Squad 34 and Club 56 will be available on our WCKids Weekly Newsletter. If you don’t receive the newsletter each week, please let us know.
During these challenging times, we want you to know that we are praying for our WCKids families. We continue to do what we have always done, partner with parents to make disciples of Jesus Christ. Things may look a little different, but our call is still the same and we are not going anywhere! We know there is a lot of information coming your way from schools, work and the nightly news. Our goal is not to overwhelm you, but to simply provide you with resources that are available if and when you need them. We hope you will take advantage of at least some of our online content. Check out our schedule of weekly events on Facebook and YouTube:
8 a.m. | WCKids Preschool Worship
8 a.m. | WCKids Elementary Worship
Weekly activities are available each week to extend the lessons presented on Sunday, they can be found under the Parent Resources tab above.
Say Yes! to Volunteering
Say yes to the opportunity to see how God is working in WCKids! Hold a baby, create a masterpiece with a kindergartener, share a bible story with a second grader or get to know a sixth grader. You can do all of this and more any Sunday! When you serve in WCKids you have the opportunity to love kids, meet and connect with other volunteers and grow in your own walk with God.
Parents Unlimited (a division of WCKids) is provided on the fourth Tuesday night of each month from 6 to 8 p.m. for elementary-aged children with special needs and their siblings.

Moms of Children with Special Needs Support Group
Second and fourth Wednesdays of the month | 10 a.m. to noon | On Campus and Zoom
This group is for moms who have a child of any age with special needs. We share our experiences in our common journey of parenting a child with a disability while also learning about community resources, advocating for our children, parenting tools and spiritual care for mom. Registration is required on the church website; Zoom details will be provided upon registration. For more information, please contact Rev. Lori Silvestri.
WCKids pledges to continue partnering with you to make disciples of Jesus Christ. Because we cannot be together on Sunday, we are offering Sunday school opportunities for you to do together at home. Each Sunday we release new Preschool and Elementary worship services on both Facebook and YouTube, you can participate in our watch parties or view them at any time that is convenient for your family. To help you continue those lessons, we post activities for each age group on Facebook and in our WCKids Dropbox. The links to Dropbox, Facebook and YouTube can be found below. We hope that you will enjoy having this time together with your kids to connect with Jesus!
