We believe fostering a personal faith in Jesus Christ in children is one of the most important parts of being a community church. There are many available ministries created for each and every age group, from nursery to sixth grade.
During these challenging times, we want you to know that we are praying for our WCKids families. We continue to do what we have always done, partner with parents to make disciples of Jesus Christ. Things may look a little different, but our call is still the same and we are not going anywhere! We know there is a lot of information coming your way from schools, work and the nightly news. Our goal is not to overwhelm you, but to simply provide you with resources that are available if and when you need them. We hope you will take advantage of at least some of our online content. Check out our schedule of weekly events on Facebook and YouTube:

WCKids Sunday: 9:30 & 11 a.m. services
Explore is an exciting learning opportunity for infants through kindergarten-aged children. Our youngest students will gather for a time of creative storytelling and active worship and explore the Bible through a variety of hands-on activities.
Engage gives students in first through sixth grade the opportunity to connect with the Bible through a variety of hands-on activities. Students will experience the lessons through art, drama, food, games, missions, movies and science, leading students into meaningful conversations.
WCKids Worship is a high-energy worship experience designed with kids in mind! Through captivating skits, interactive games, active worship and a relevant message from the Bible, students will experience God in a new, exciting way.
WCKids Wednesdays | 6 to 7 p.m.
During the school year, Wednesday nights at White's Chapel are full of family fun and our WCKids Wednesday theme nights are perfect for all ages! Children three years of age and under are invited to join us for some fun in our childcare classrooms while their parents are involved in on campus classes, events or fellowship. Our four year olds and kindergartners can sing and play as they learn songs and Bible stories. Our 1st through 6th graders are invited to join other students in their grade level for a time of Bible study and fellowship, including organized games and interactive learning. There is something for everyone on Wednesday night!
Saturday Night Kids | 5:45 to 6:30 p.m.
Children ages 4 through 6th grade are invited to join WCKids staff for children's programming during the Saturday Night Bridge service. Children will be dismissed to the back of the Bridge by a pastor after opening worship. WCKids staff will split the group into classrooms based on age and number of children. Programming mirrors Sunday morning small group time and includes bible stories, along with conversations and activities that enhance the lesson.
MiniJam is available throughout the entire service for children 3 yrs old and under. The nursery is open from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m.
Say Yes! to Volunteering
Say yes to the opportunity to see how God is working in WCKids! Hold a baby, create a masterpiece with a kindergartener, share a bible story with a second grader or get to know a sixth grader. You can do all of this and more any Sunday! When you serve in WCKids you have the opportunity to love kids, meet and connect with other volunteers and grow in your own walk with God.

Books Unlimited - A Virtual Book Club
August 6 at 10 a.m.
Join us for a book reading and discussion of The Rosie Project: A Novel by author Graeme Simsion. The book discussion will be led by Lori Silvestri, who leads WC’s ministry for individuals and families who have special needs. This classic romantic comedy gives readers a peek into the life of an adult man living with Asperger Syndrome. The discussion will focus on how the presence of Asperger’s impacts the middle-aged man’s journey through life. If you want to gain some insight into Asperger Syndrome, which is a form of high functioning Autism, this is a great place to start (as this book is funny and entertaining as well as informative). The book is available through most book sellers.
The book discussion will be available through Zoom and will be held on August 6, from 10 to 11 a.m. Registration is required online. After registering, participants will be contacted with the Zoom information.
WCKids pledges to continue partnering with you to make disciples of Jesus Christ. Because we cannot be together on Sunday, we are offering Sunday school opportunities for you to do together at home. Each Sunday we release new Preschool and Elementary worship services on both Facebook and YouTube, you can participate in our watch parties or view them at any time that is convenient for your family. To help you continue those lessons, we post activities for each age group on Facebook and in our WCKids Dropbox. The links to Dropbox, Facebook and YouTube can be found below. We hope that you will enjoy having this time together with your kids to connect with Jesus!

Our program is growing and we couldn’t be more thrilled! As we continue to grow, so does our need for volunteers. Our Engage classes allow volunteers to commit to one month at a time, so if you are interested in art, food, games, movies, science, drama or missions please let us know! We’d love to get you plugged into a class as soon possible, please sign up for one or more of these exciting opportunities and the month(s) that works best for you.
