WC Kids

We believe fostering a personal faith in Jesus Christ in children is one of the most important parts of being a community church. There are many available ministries created for each and every age group, from nursery to sixth grade.
"Our mission in WCKids is to intentionally seek ways to partner with parents to help facilitate this journey.”

    Fun Run
WC Kids is hosting our second annual Fun Run with the goal of raising money for Heifer International. All ages are welcome to participate… so bring your friends, family, and children in strollers or dogs on leashes and walk, run, skip, hop or jump to the finish line! Don’t worry if you aren’t a race enthusiast, all runners, walkers and joggers are invited to join in on the fun. We will meet in the amphitheater by the pond at 9:30 a.m. for a word of prayer, then we will take off! There will be fun, interactive stations along the way....including a petting zoo! Breakfast will be served at the finish line for everyone to enjoy by the pond. Registration is $10 per person and 100% of registration fees will be donated to Heifer. Register by April 29 for a FREE t-shirt. **If you cannot participate in the Fun Run but cannot attend, you can still donate!**

Knights of North Castle VBS: Quest for the King’s Armor
    June 6-9 | 9 a.m.-noon
North Castle is hidden in a frozen land. The King’s valiant Knights are on a quest in search of the King’s Armor. But the armor isn’t what they think it is.
Kids will learn to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of God’s power by exploring how we put on the armor of God. Kids will take on the role of brave Knights and begin their quest each session by opening the King’s Book. They’ll explore Old and New Testament stories and discover different pieces of protective armor.  Kids will take up the gauntlet this summer and accept the challenge to “armor up” and be strong by remaining with God and sharing God’s love with the world. Knights will “armor up” with: Truth, Justice, Peace, and Faith!

"Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power." - Ephesians 6:10

VBS (Vacation Bible School) is for kids entering kindergarten-fourth grade and VBX (Vacation Bible Experience) is for fifth and sixth graders.

    Rockstar Auditions 2022
Rockstars are 10th-12th graders who lead worship, perform skits and share the Word with WC Kids on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. They make connections with the students and serve as role models and mentors. Teens will also assist with events and in other areas as needed throughout the year. Auditions for the Rockstars will be on Thursday, June 19. At the audition you will perform a memorized monologue and read through an improvisational script.

  • 2021/2022 Sunday School Volunteers
We are so excited to see our numbers growing in Sunday School!! Having families and laughter back in the hallways fills our hearts with joy! Along with the joy, there is the need for adult volunteers to teach. Say yes to the opportunity to see how God is working in WCKids! Hold a baby, create a masterpiece with a kindergartener, share a bible story with a second grader or get to know a sixth grader. You can do all of this and more any Sunday! When you serve in WCKids you have the opportunity to love kids, meet and connect with other volunteers and grow in your own walk with God. Below are the opportunities we have available:
