We believe fostering a personal faith in Jesus Christ in children is one of the most important parts of being a community church. There are many available ministries created for each and every age group, from nursery to sixth grade.
Each Sunday the children in WCKids will hear the teachings of God in a creative and relevant way. Children kindergarten and under, learn through guided play, and exciting music and bible storytelling. Crafts and other creative activities will help to reinforce what they are learning. Our 1st-4th graders will begin each hour in the ROCK, a large group experience that includes music, skits and relevant videos. The students will then move into small groups for activities and conversations that enhance the learning experience. Our 5th-6th graders are encouraged to hang out in Elevate for fellowship prior to small group time, Elevate opens 30 minutes before each service. Small group begins at 9:30 and 11:00 and provides an opportunity to hear bible stories in a relevant way and promotes conversation amongst pre-teens and their leaders. This group comes together in the ROCK for a large group experience to round out the hour. No matter what life stage a child is in, WCKids Sunday is full of love, laughter and learning!
During the school year, Wednesday nights at White’s Chapel are full of family fun! Children 3 yrs old and under are invited to join our MIniJam session while their parents are involved in on campus classes, events or fellowship. Our 4-6 yr olds can sing and play in our KidzPraise program where they will learn songs, bible verses and even make a craft. Our 1st-6th graders are invited to join other students in their grade level for a time of bible study and fellowship, including organized games and interactive learning. There is something for everyone on Wednesday night!
Children ages 4-6th grade are invited to join WCKids staff for children’s programming during the Saturday Night Bridge service. Children will be dismissed to the back of the Bridge by a pastor after opening worship. WCKids staff will split the group into classrooms based on age and number of children. Programming mirrors Sunday morning small group time and includes bible stories, along with conversations and activities that enhance the lesson.
MiniJam is available throughout the entire service for children 3 yrs old and under. The nursery is open from 5:15-6:30.
WCKids have been working on purchasing a Heifer Intl. Gift Bundle that includes two sheep, four goats, one heifer and two llamas for $1500. So far we have “bought” a llama and a goat. We will continue to collect offering for Heifer Intl. through Easter. We want children to learn that even a small coin donated to help others can make a big difference. The Gift Bundle meets several needs at once, providing wealth, nourishment, warmth and a means for farmers to become self-sufficient. This gift reflects our determination and our belief that no challenge is too great if we come together. Let’s join Heifer Intl. in ending hunger and poverty for good.

To Mars and Beyond will help kids discover the wonders of God’s universe this summer. They’ll become Voyagers on a journey through space, exploring where God’s power can take them. Along the way, they’ll learn how God walked with heroes of the Bible, and that God is always with them. The adventure will continue with out-of-this-world fun, learning and Bible stories that inspire kids to give glory to God, who is able to do far beyond all that we could ask or imagine.
Glory to God, who is able to do far beyond all that we could ask or imagine by his power at work within us. Ephesians 3:20

Stick around after church, have some pizza, and help create an outer space for VBS this year. We need volunteers to help us build all the VBS set stuff.
Looking for a place to serve on Sundays? Be a part of our Welcome Team! We have two fun ways for you to serve!
New Family Greeter: Be the friendly face that welcomes new families to WCKids. Help them navigate the halls, share a bit about our ministry and give them a welcome package.
Check In Crew: Be the friendly face that assists families as they check in, all it takes is a quick training.
Both of these opportunities allow adults to serve without missing service or Sunday school class. We are looking for folks who would like to serve at least once a month.
Be a part of what God is doing at White’s Chapel! Sign up to minister to our children on Sunday mornings. Volunteering is not just about helping others; it’s one of the best ways to grow in your relationship with God. Get involved by serving alongside others who share your enthusiasm for Christ. Contact Kat Ormsby with questions or sign up here.
