“In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” – Abraham Lincoln
Classic Adult Fellowship (CAF) of White’s Chapel is a group that definitely agrees with Lincoln! Anyone can grow old, but our mantra is to continue to experience new things, as well as celebrate our history and common bonds through fellowship. CAF is a great group to belong to if you are in your fifties or older, love the Lord, and enjoy having fun in group settings! You do not need to be a member of White’s Chapel to enjoy time with us; all are welcome and encouraged to be a part of a great network of friends. From veterans to retired teachers and beyond, we can all find a place to belong through Christ’s love. With monthly themed luncheons to free movie matinees and special field trips, you are bound to find some friends to laugh and share fun times with! If living life to the fullest is on your to-do list and you love friendly, welcoming people, you are invited to any of our fall activities!
If living life to the fullest is on your to-do list, we’ll save a seat for you! Contact Laurie Williams or call 817 481-4147, for more information.
CAF luncheons are a wonderful place to meet new people, catch up with friends, have a great meal, and enjoy great entertainment or special speakers. On the last Friday of the month, you can find us in Evans Hall at White’s Chapel. We are blessed with the best chefs and kitchen staff ever! We have themed luncheons that include dishes like pot roast, Mexican food, Italian spreads, salads, soups, and even a chili-cookoff. Of course, after your meal, be sure to save room for dessert as we have our very own pastry chef, Joey Pecararo that will create something fabulous! It’s a good thing that we only have luncheons once a month with all the yummy food! Not only are the meals wonderful, but you will be very entertained! From country and western and oldies themed bands to soloists, demonstrations, and even fashion shows, you are sure to enjoy yourself! We’ve had everything from an FBI agent, to Kraig Parker – famous Elvis Tribute Artist! One thing is for sure, you won’t leave hungry or bored! Above all, we love to visit with one another – sharing life’s special moments, friendships, and God’s love. Donations are accepted and appreciated for luncheons with check-in at 10:30 a.m. and starting at 11. Check the CAF seasonal newsletters for specific themes, menus, and dates. Contact Laurie Williams or call 817 481-4147, for more information.

Another place to connect with the group is at monthly CAF movies! Join us the first Thursday of the month for a free movie with fresh popcorn, candy, and drinks! Starting at 1:30 p.m. in Rawlins Hall, we gather to enjoy each other’s company and a great movie. Current hits as well as oldies-but-goodies are shown on a large screen and selections are typically geared toward titles that the group would find interesting. WC is a great place to get away and watch a movie without the typical crowded theater! For this month’s movie selection, check the CAF seasonal newsletter. To register for the movie, call or email director, Laurie Williams.
All movies will have special, themed snacks and a fun atmosphere.
Group will meet at the Richland Hills TRE Station (7225 Burns St., Richland Hills) at 9:20 a.m. to head to the Fair for the day. We will return to the station at 5:14 p.m.
