Connecting couples with Christ and one another.
At White’s Chapel, we believe that we were created for relationship—with God and with one another. Marriage is one expression of how we live into and become the people God creates and calls us to be. We also believe that part of being the church means we cultivate space for nurturing thriving relationships, reconciling hurting relationships, and welcoming how God works through and redeems all of our relationships.
We want to welcome you on this journey as part of our marriage ministry.
So, whether you are about to be married or are celebrating 50+ years of marriage, join us as we share in moments designed to draw us closer to God and to one another. Together, we’ll study God’s word, learn more about cultivating healthy relationships, laugh together on date nights, and more!
Book Study | Life Stage Ministries 30-40
Begins Tuesday, Sept. 8 | 8 to 9 p.m. | Zoom
Parenting. Everyone has an opinion about the 'right' way to do it, but what if we asked another question? What if, instead of asking about the right way to parent and treating parenting as a job, we embraced parenting as journey? Drawing from psychological research, neuroscience, and our own stories as parents and people of faith, "The Six Needs of Every Child," presents six relational needs for human growth that together form the foundation of thriving parent-child relationships: CONNECTION.
Books are available for purchase through online/ local bookstores. Registration for this study is available on the church website. Once registered, participants will receive additional Zoom/class information. Contact Rev. Kristin Warthen for more information.

One Thing(s) Study with Marriage Ministries
Begins Tuesday, Feb. 9 | 7 to 8 p.m. | Zoom
Join WC Marriage Ministries and MarriedPeople for a five-week Bible study where, together, we will hear from marriage experts who have each been asked the question: “if you could tell married couples just one thing, what would it be?” We’ll spend the next five weeks exploring the one thing each of these experts would say to us. This isn’t about complicated solutions to marriage challenges, but about simple tools to help us all make positive adjustments that will benefit our marriage—and maybe even all our relationships! The price of registration will include study materials. It is $10 per book needed.
The Gottman Institute
The Gottman Institute is dedicated to combining wisdom from research and practice to support and strengthen marriages, families, and relationships. It brings the knowledge of research to therapists — and the insight of therapists to researchers. This link between research and practice reflects the collaboration of John and Julie Gottman, whose combined research and clinical experience is extensive, and incomparable.
