Super Saturday: Turkeys and Thanksgiving – November 16
Join us on Nov. 16 from 9 to 10 a.m. as we pack and prepare Thanksgiving baskets at Super Saturday: Turkeys and Thanksgiving. We will need a few volunteers (turkey trotters) to bring turkeys from Feedstore BBQ to Evans Hall. At 10 a.m., we will begin to pack Thanksgiving boxes along with the freshly smoked turkeys. We will then deliver them that same day. Volunteers who want to be turkey trotters or pack and deliver must register online. There are limited number of families who will receive Thanksgiving baskets so sign up for packing and delivering is first come/first serve only. If you want to be a turkey trotter only that morning, please sign up accordingly. Contact FaithWorks, at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you have any questions.

Angel Forest Christmas assistance ministry. Trees go up November 1st featuring families that need help. We want to make sure all of the families are adopted, including military families, before other requests are fulfilled. Check the trees in the designated areas to adopt your family. Other requests such as senior stockings, bicycles, baby blessings, will be available at a later date. Volunteers are needed to help sort and organize the gifts. People need to obtain their angels from the trees and follow the specific directions on the angels.
