We have several mission trips throughout the year. Some of these are international trips and some of them like the Spring Break Family Mission Trip are within the United States but still outside of the state of Texas.
Costa Rica Trip #1: February 4-10, 2020
Costa Rica Trip #2: February 7-13, 2020
Every other year
Every two years, a trip is taken to Ghana to help with building schools, pavilions, distribute medical supplies and see the water wells WC has provided. 36 water wells have been created to date.

Puerto Rico is still dealing with the effects of Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Hurricane Maria crossed the island southeast to northwest in September of 2017. Landfall on the southeast corner was hit with winds of 155 mph, which tore off roofs and flattened buildings. There are still more than 30,000 homes and buildings with temporary roofing due to Hurricane Maria.
We will be partnering with UMCOR as volunteers work in southeast Puerto Rico, near the town of Patillas. The team will be doing construction, repair, painting and other needs on the local church. They will also work on homes in the surrounding area. Work crews will rotate between different projects to have a complete experience.
Lalgadh Leprosy Hospital in Nepal
WC has provided funding through communion offerings for the building of a children’s wing at the hospital and provided medical supplies, food and clothing when needed.
Ways that you can volunteer to make a difference right here at White’s Chapel.
Opportunities exist for you to volunteer in a broader fashion around the DFW area.
White’s Chapel is more than just a local outreach church. It has opportunities that lie outside of the U.S. as well.
