October 26 – November 2

Fall Adult Mission trip leaving on Oct. 26 and returning Nov. 2. This team will travel to Chichicastenango, Guatemala, to build ventilated stoves for the Mayan families who are cooking over open campfires in their huts. The number one killer of women in Guatemala is lung disease, which results from the smoke in their huts. Days are spent constructing stoves with the help of a master stove builder. The master stove builder teaches other apprentices in the village on how to build the stoves so the work can continue after our team leaves. Time includes interaction with the local people of the village and their families. A day will also be spent exploring the Guatemalan country. While this trip is more rugged, no construction experience is necessary…just an open heart and mind to the transformational power of serving Christ.

Cost of the trip is $1,400 with air fare or if you book your own, it is $900 without air. Cost includes all transportation, lodging, and most meals. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to hold your space. Final balance is due on or before September 16th. There are 15 openings available and it is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Priority will be given to those who have not been to Guatemala before or ever been on an international mission trip.

Deposit: —$250.00 (non-refundable) Deposit is due upon registration. You may pay in full or follow the payment schedule.
First payment by July 15
Second payment by August 15
Final payment on or before September 16
