Adult Discipleship

To be a disciple of Jesus Christ means that we understand ourselves and our on-going, ever-deepening journeys of faith through the eyes of a student.  To meet our community’s need for transformation (not just information), we offer Bible studies, classes, and programs for people of all ages and interests.
"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

- Matthew 28:18-20

    Baptism 101

Baptism is one of the most important days of a Christian’s life, and presenting a child for baptism is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent. Whether you are making this decision for yourself or presenting your child, the pastors of White’s Chapel want to help you understand the meaning and purpose of this sacrament, so you can choose the appropriate time for this life-long commitment.

Please join us for Baptism 101 as we explore the church’s understanding of baptism, share some tools for forming your faith in Christ, and share some family practices that will foster your children’s spirituality as they develop their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Baptism 101 class is a one-time class held the first Wednesday of each month (excluding June, July, August and December) from 5:15 to 6 p.m.  For more information, contact Linda Spence. Registration is required for this class.
