Adult Discipleship

To be a disciple of Jesus Christ means that we understand ourselves and our on-going, ever-deepening journeys of faith through the eyes of a student.  To meet our community’s need for transformation (not just information), we offer Bible studies, classes, and programs for people of all ages and interests.
"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

- Matthew 28:18-20

Connected Parenting in a Disconnected World
Parenting. Everyone has an opinion about the 'right' way to do it, but what if we asked another question? What if instead of asking about the right way to parent and treating parenting as a job, we embraced parenting as journey? How do we connect with our kids in an increasingly disconnected world?

This is what Dr. Jeffrey and Amy Olrick seek to answer as they join White’s Chapel on Jan. 22, from 7-9 p.m., for a one-time Zoom webinar. Drawing from psychological research, neuroscience, and their own stories as parents and people of faith, our guest speakers will share their thoughts on parenting. Dr. Jeffrey and Amy Olrick, authors of “The 6 Needs of Every Child,” will share with us why connection is so important and how we can cultivate secure connections with our children. The cost of this webinar is $25.
