The Next Steps Luncheon is designed to give people who are thinking about joining White’s Chapel, the opportunity to know more about our church, our mission and vision, and the many services, classes, and events we offer. The lunch will begin with a presentation from our senior co-pastors, Drs. John McKellar and Todd Renner, followed by a short procedural introduction from our Pastor of Evangelism, Rev. Sterling Smith. Guests will also have an opportunity to get to know and interact with a WC Table Host, who will guide table discussions, answer questions, and share additional information. After the luncheon, there will be an opportunity for those who are interested to join.

Meet at Wesley Cafe
Have you been thinking about joining, or have recently joined… but are still a little unsure of how to navigate our campus? Or perhaps you have been coming to White’s Chapel a long time, but would like to learn more about our amazing church. Please join Rev. Sterling Smith for a campus walking tour. We will first gather at Wesley Café. Rev. Smith will lead guests on a tour sharing stories from our past while highlighting our various ministries, where they meet, and programs offered. This short tour will end in the beautiful Founder’s Chapel, with a few minutes for Q&A. Come join in the fun while we explore our church home!
Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. One of the best ways to make disciples is through the sharing of our faith stories, also called invitational evangelism. When God presents the opportunity to speak to others about Christ, it is important that we know what we want to say, and how we want to say it. Filming our stories helps us to consolidate our thoughts, and present our stories in a powerful way. To prepare for these moments, White’s Chapel is offering four to six weeks of spiritual formation classes and exercises, along with one-on-one, or small group, spiritual direction. Stay tuned for upcoming dates!
October 5 – 7
Come join in the fun at the annual Southlake Oktoberfest. This year will mark the 17th anniversary of the Oktoberfest celebration hosted by Southlake’s Chamber of Commerce! Over 100,000 people visit throughout the weekend festival. Attendance is completely free: there are no admissions or parking fees. There will, however, be a wide range of food, beverages, and booth items available for sale!
Great food and live entertainment are also at your fingertips during this fun-filled event. The kids will have a great time in the excitement-packed children’s area!
White’s Chapel will be hosting a hospitality tent for guests and visitors, and we will need volunteers all weekend for this fun event.

Our story began nearly 150 years ago, with the first service held in February 1872 at what was then called Oak Hill Methodist Church South…
As a church, we rely on Scripture to guide our beliefs and services. The Trinity, the Bible, our humanity, salvation and more are significant in keeping us rooted in our faith.
We would love for you to meet the many faces that assist our church in continuing to bring the light of Jesus to our community.
We have a variety of service styles and times to suit everyones spiritual needs.
Love what God is doing in your life through your time here? We would love to meet you and help you join the White’s Chapel family!
Whether it is your first time visiting or you’ve attended for a while, we all can have questions! Check out dress code, a map and more here.
