Participate in preparing Health Kits for Survivors

Thank you White's Chapel for your generous contributions! We completed 155 Health Kits for the earthquake survivors in Haiti on Feb. 21st. However, we still have 195 Kits that are missing items, so in order for those kits to be completed we are asking for a few more donations. Please help us by bringing in the listed items below to the donation box

 

in Wesley Hall.

STILL NEEDED:

• 195 Hand towels (15" x 25" up to 17" x 27", no kitchen towels)
• 170 Toothbrushes (single brushes only in original wrapper, no child size brushes)
• 132 Combs (large and sturdy, not pocket sized)
• 124 Nail clippers or nail files (no toe nail clippers or emery boards)

 

Please bring all donations to the donation box located in Wesley Hall by Sunday, March 7th.

Further, you will find a prayer for Haiti below; it is our most profound hope that we will gather around this current brokenness and crisis to pray for and give to the people that Jesus called "the least of these."

"O God of mercy and grace, we lift the people, the country and all of your creation in Haiti into your tender hands. May your healing presence be felt and seen in the midst of the emergency efforts. Comfort those who have lost loved ones, those who have lost homes, and those who have lost hope. Our tears and prayers embrace those that are grieving, and we pray that You will uphold those who suffer and unite us as one in recovery, love, and mercy. Amen."
