Our seventh and eighth grade students will return to the Tulsa Dream Center June 12-16 to partner with this incredible ministry for the third year in a row. We will lodge at the Dream Center and serve alongside their many ministries. Groups will have the opportunity to do yard work, light home repair, and painting in the Adopt-a-Block program. Students will also sort clothing and food which are given away for those in need. On Tuesday and Thursday, those in need will come for a hot meal, worship service, and grocery giveaway. Many of our students will help prepare for this incredible opportunity to feed those in need. During the summer, the Dream Center also has a day camp for elementary students. Groups will have the opportunity to play games, tutor, and help teach VBS style lessons to these children. Students will have another opportunity to love on children through the sidewalk truck ministry, where we will bring games, groceries, and bible lessons to those in need.
Middle school mission trip is a wonderful opportunity for students to participate in many very different types of ministry alongside, all with the purpose of loving God by loving His people. It is a great chance for students to create powerful bonds with other students in the ministry as they make an eternal impact on the people in north Tulsa.
